| Sometimes pictures show more of the atmosphere of a concert than words. And everyone can "read" it ! Thanks for posting | |

| Nice article again to P J [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Du côté des rôles masculins, à tout seigneur tout honneur, commençons par Philippe Jaroussky, autre grande voix attendue de cette soirée, qui incarnait Ruggiero. | |

| Another review. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]A couple of quotes: This was a truly ensemble performance. The players showed such joy in their work. Jaroussky emphasised Ruggiero’s ingenuousness while giving a dazzling performance musically (and seeming to possess more power than the last time I heard him in the Barbican Hall). | |

| And another review [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]"...Trois d’entre eux, conservant une tessiture unie, tiennent le coup : Philippe Jaroussky (dans les arie lentes, il installe un admirable art du temps poétique, suspendu et contemplatif), Kristina Hammarström (ce magnifique et mordoré mezzo-soprano a tout pour tenir le rôle-titre) et Daniela Pini (arrivée au milieu de l’après-midi pour remplacer la titulaire alitée, elle s’est fort bien acquittée, dans la fosse, de la part vocale de Medoro, tandis que son personnage était mimé sur scène)..." | |

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] In Budapest, one of the cellists was so sick she had to leave the stage in the middle of the concert, running, her hand pressed to her mouth... | |

| Encore un avis élogieux! [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] | |
