Oh, I just commented his Spanish in another (maybe wrong) thread.

Yes, at least I am sitting here, enjoying the show, but also worried about the quality of the streaming... And yes, having problems too.

What do you think about the sound quality?

It was so funny to hear him speaking Spanish! My Spanish isn't perfect either, and it's always comforting to hear someone else going around the hard words and making mistakes - just as I do when speaking a foreign language not-so-fluently.

As I mentioned before, his accent sounded more German than French to me. Am I alone with this impression? Native Spanish speakers? Anyone?

He he....I comfort myself always with the minds, that I´m not only one, who speaks with accent....
I ´m native Russian speaker, but live in Germany, so my German is almost perfect ( proud ) and often better than by some "native speaker", hehe.

But I´m always ashamed for my self - taught English, lots of mistakes as also for my bad pronunciation. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I don't know if anyone's interested but I split the performance into separate files for convenience - I had to use the other recording from the other thread because I found Jana's file was not editable.
I made album art from one of the press photos, it does look fake but I love that photo! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Also, I got lost in who sang what when it comes to the smaller parts because some of the singers mastered several of these. I used the cast list posted with the recording I downloaded which didn't list Terry Wey as Lucano; instead one Mathias Vidal. Don't know what happened here but it certainly doesn't sound like Terry. Oh well. Enjoy!

When I first downloaded your mp3 file I tried importing it to my audio editing software to split the files. I've had some trouble with files that last over 2 hours before, so I didn't have high hopes, but it seemed to work.. it took forever but when it was finished importing no file showed up in the timeline. When I imported it into itunes I couldn't even change the name of the file or change any of the options/settings - like the "remember playback position" function which would have made it easier to listen. It sounds like the file is "write protected". I used to know how to change that, but I must admit I forgot how to do so....was several years ago that I last did it.

To both many many many thanks....I have the Incoronazione audio safe in my Ipod so I can project myself into heaven as I drive the streets in Miami full of angry drivers....

I know this is a vintage thread but I have to comment on it. He speak Spanish as well?? I'm soooooo amazed!! Is it common for you European folks to speak so many languages or is he superhuman?

Philippe speaks Spanish very good and gladly ...as well as German, English and ( I guess) Italian ...

But it´s not a custom for the "common" people here, just for the good educated ones...or interested, too. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

French people, generally speaking, are usually not very gifted for foreign languages !
Philippe must be an exception !
