Philippe in Neumarkt

Yesterday Philippe gave a concert in the "Reitstadl" in Neumarkt - a pretty small town in Bavaria (only about 38500 inhabitants) - but like in the capitals of the world he fascinates his audience and gets them enthusiastic about his voice, his program, his personality in this small city as well. The concert  was sold out and many people used the chance, to get one of the additional standing places. All of them - Philippe, Jérôme Ducros and Quatuor Ebène - gave a brilliant concert with a perfect interaction.
One could hear and see that they have a very deep understanding of the music and of everybody in the team. And in the signing session all the six kept on fascinating the people by their friendlyness and obligingless....

We loved this evening.

The musicians were very connected.
I felt the passionate devotion, a very high concentration
and a high level of attentiveness with love.

My personal feelings:
Raphaël Merlin was a eye catcher for me = I watched his hands:
A special sensitivity and expression. Beautiful !
Pierre Colombet played a violin with a very nice sound. An excellent violinist.

All were great — Thank you for this great evening!
