Philippe in Bremerhaven on 15.09.11

Hello everybody, has anyone been in Bremerhaven on the 15th? I would very much appreciate a little report or even photos from there! Unfortunately, I had to go on a business trip and couldn't be there....

I have been there with some of my friends !

It was kind different from CD and Philippe was very satisfied , as he said at the end, after the singing and signing.
I noticed a lot changes, also in his manner to perform, it become more matured and relaxed and some "specialeffects", too.

Philippe gave three (!!!) encores and got standing ovations, really unusual for North Germany and therefore, even more touching.

I liked Markus Märkl at the cembalo with his humorous " tune - cadences" and considerate accompaniment . Werner Matzke with cello- concerto performed with virtuosity !

An very moving , expressive and emotional fulfilled evening with all the excellent musicians and marvellous music.

I was there aswell (I was one of the friends Jana mentioned )

Jana said it all. It was a marvelous evening and Philippe´s voice seems to get stronger and he suprised us very often that evening.

It was a wonderful, amazing and expressive evening I even got tears in my I eyes so moved I was. I felt freed, everything what happens the last past weeks were forgotten.

thank you for the little reports. As for the encores in northern Germany, remember: We had four in Hamburg last November. Do you know why he makes such a funny face on the last picture?

He also gave four encores in Berlin last November. (Jana, es waren doch keine drei, hab eben meinen Bericht, den ich damals woanders gepostet habe wieder gefunden)
And with L'Arpeggiatta in Bremen a year ago there were also four encores

Hello, everybody. I was there too, hearing Philippe alive for the first time. It was a kind of a theatrical effect: concert is a spectacle, a kind of a drama, in fact.
Question: does anybody know how to get a ticket to Paris concert on December 9?

Yes, it was so overwhelming, touching and great , great as always ! But Philippe sang really sort of different... so ....more Hero....confidently, perhaps....as also endless tender, gentle and sensitive.....

Oh My God ! The unexpected low note in the first aria was the best " special effect"!

This concert in Paris is complete. But you can try to get the cheap stand place (for 5, - euro) just before the beginning there.

this is just what I recognized in Meldorf, I suppose. He is more and more acting while singing. His voice is developing towards the low register, but is still keeping the aigus! Somewhat of being grown-up and very masculine, isn't it like that ?
