iTunes in Norway still only has the pre-order available but I got an e-mail notification from Spotify saying it was already available there....listening now...amazing. Julia sounds great and I love hearing the lower/middle part of Philippe's register too and not just the dizzying high notes.

I guess, in "Concerti" 11/13 is something about "Stabat Mater", too .

Thank you Saskia and Kelalla for your video links! If I am right, these videos are also part of the bonus dvd offered so far only by FNAC. Does anybody have this edition with the bonus dvd and can tell us what is the content of this dvd? I should like to know before ordering! And I have not yet bought the cd just because of this, and I am so keen to get it!

i 'm listening to this new cd , i bought it one hour ago, in french : superbe, l'harmonie des voix est magnifique, la pureté c'est une magnifique version du Stabat Mater, Philippe a raison de se diriger maintenant vers la musique sacrée, la pureté de sa voix est faite pour, elle donne tant d'émotions, et moi je suis très sensible à cela!!! sniff sniff

I translated the part about recording with Philippe: I´d like to express my gratefulness to Philippe Jaroussky for his invitation – this CD was also recorded on his recording –label, though I have my exclusive contract with DECCA, but we knew since two years that we will record this CD and I very wanted to do it , therefore I asked for a special permission by my label and they let me full free to do it. I was very surprised because Philippe know me already much longer than I could imagine! He …watched for me all the time of my career , he saw me on YouTube and obviously, Marc Minkowski, who discovered me, told him about me, too. And - can you imagine? – the first time I met Philippe at the cafeteria of Moscow Conservatory as he had concert there! I rehearsed with my boyfriend and Philippe also just finished his rehearsal . We knew, that he rehearsed there, but never could believe, that he will come up to the cafeteria and buy tea and some chocolate. Then he looked back and saw me –I sat there slack-jawed and blushed … I never could imagine, Philippe himself would be really here , at the cafeteria, buying tea and looking at me! But he recognized me and came to our table, but I was all of a tizzy and my voice was gone, though I could say him Hello … do you know me? Really? Do you know me? Then we had an very nice conversation. Later I got mail from his manager about future projects, it was very pleasing. Stabat Mater we recorded in a church in Bellinzona in Switzerland, Motets we recorded in Lugano in a studio with an amazing choir and absolutely great conductor- Diego Fasolis. I was so concentrated and felt myself so incredible comfortable while recording, that I did not immediately realise how unique this conductor is. As I listened to the recording, I understood how I adore this great musician. Here I want to say some words about Philippe – since the very first moments of our recording he was so attentive and agile to match our voices to each other, it was my biggest wish to be an good singing partner to him – and you know, he is not a Diva at all , he never wanted to seize the reins . He was an perfect singing partner , there were absolutely no competition, no games which could be because of singing duet, you know. Our voices merged absolutely together immediately ,but we did not realise this – after recording my boyfriend and Philippe´s manager told us, that it was amazing, they praised us and I remember- I was just happy all this time . First we recorded Motets, then we went to Bellinzona to the church- it was so funny because there was a train very close and very loud , so we had to wait each time before it was silent enough again to be able to continue the recording. There at this church I felt that the time stands still and it was like…as we would come to one different dimension…I enjoyed every moment a lot.

So sweet! Ms Lezhneva sounds quite the little fangirl, doesn't she? Thanks for the translation, Jana.

Jana, thank you for the translation!! Like Artemis wrote - it`s so nice to see (or read...) how excited and enthusiastic she was when she first met Philippe - just like all of us!!!!
