Moscow, the International House of Music, September 27, 2013

I’ve just come back home after Philippe’ Farinelli program at the International Music House in Moscow. I am absolutely overwhelmed with positive energy. That was fantastic and brilliant!
Much has  already been said on other threads here about his current program, I second all nice words as I can’t praise him better than it has already been done by friends who have been to his recent concerts in France.
I can only specify that his concert in Moscow was a great success, it was full house, standing ovation, a lot of flowers and two bisses, one of them being Sposa non mi conosci.

I’ve been dreaming for a long time that I could ever get to the concert of Monsieur Philippe Jaroussky.
That day my dream finally came true!!!
Thanks to Lena, I got my ticket six months before this very day!  And actually if I wasn’t kindly reminded by Jana yesterday, I doubt I’d go anywhere!
The Hall is quite interesting ... but the sound is not very good. If  not  microphones, we all wouldn’t probably hear a thing.  And despite the fact that Monsieur Jaroussky  liked the hall,  unfortunately,  I cannot share his enthusiasm. The only plus: we were sitting right by the stage,  but laterally.
He sang arias of the great Farinelli. HE SANG PERFECTLY! I do not even know how to describe it ... if only the sound was better ... now I understand why people faint when they hear such voices.
There were so many lyrical arias -  that’s one of the fancies of Monsieur Philippe! He can feel them unusually deeply! And there also were several  vivid, gushing arias – my favorite ones!  Precisely they made the greatest impression on me.
The encore was absolutely amazing… he performed  Sposa non mi conosci and In braccio a mille furie!!! The first one touched me especially … HOW DID HE SANG IT!!!
Time has flown absolutely imperceptibly ... and it was so hard  to believe that  it's over.
We really wanted to get an autograph or a photo. But Philippe narrated that won’t come, because he was tired , but he was really for that.
On the other hand, it's even better this way... Firstly, he still remains so distant ... and fabulous. Secondly, now I'll have to wait for more of his next concerts in Moscow!
A lot of impressions! An unforgettable evening!!!
