| Great interview with AS and PJ about the prospect of singing together in English - in London [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Was a great night, including a fun encore - not sure that AS is really for me though - he's a big/tall chap but the voice just didn't do it for me, didn't seem to have any oomph - Have I been really spoiled by having Philippe as my introductory experience of the countertenor? What do you others who were there, think?? | |

| One of the best things I did in over 30 years of marriage is introduce Philippe Jaroussky into my wife's musical life. Again last night at the Barbican he was superb. Purcell is not easy listening - PJ made it really work for me. AS got better as he warmed up, PJ was on top form - I thought - all nighte long. A few dance steps in the encore duet and both of them singing a fewphrases in their natural voices. | Great review !!! I must say I hardly imagine them singing together : they have such different voices ! But they are just like magicians and it must have been really fantastic I love them both  | |
